Thanks Joy Fold Card

This is my first joy fold card and I had a blast making it. I made a Thank You card. I used a Prima paper stack for all the paper. The base of the card is a pearlescent cardstock. The little scallop on the front is made with the Slice design card Noteworty. I used the Cricut and cart Lyrical Letters to make the design on the front of the card. It is the design on page 65 of the book called Italic Monoline. I think it is also called a "top note" shape. The little flower is an embellie that I found in my stash. I added some white pen work and pearls for detail. TFL!

Thank You Joy Fold Matching Envelope

So I want my posts to go in some type of order so I am posting my envelopes first and then I will post my card and that way you see the card first and then then envelope...........clear as mud (LOL!). The envelope is an A2 size. I used the Ultimate Crafter's Companion to make it. It is sooooooo easy to use! I love making my own envelopes now. I used the Cricut and Lyrical Letters cart to make the front of the envie.

A Butterfly for Any Occasion.....

I made 4 of these cards. I designed them to be for just about any occasion. They were quick and easy to make. I think I have gotten into the mode of creating more than one card at a time because in the long run it saves on time and supplies.
Anywho, I used the Home Decor Cricut cartridge for the butterfly and shadow. The scallops were made with the Slice and Slice design card Noteworthy. I really love how the scallops come out on this machine. The paper is from a DCWV stack. The cardstock is Bazzill. I added ribbon accross the front. I tied the bows seperately and the added them with a glue dot. I used a glitter pen and added some white dots around the butterfly and scallops to add some detail. TFL.

Green Pear Notecards

This fun little pear note card set was made with the Cricut. The cut is from Lyrical letters. It was cut at 5". I just love this cart........okay I know, there isn't a cart that I don't love (lol)! The patterned paper is from the K & Co. set from Joann's that was on that great sale a few weeks back. I did 2 of each card. One set with the patterned paper as the background and one with the paper as the foreground. I embellished with some gems, ribbon, glitter pen and white pen. I just wish I knew how to take a bit better of a photo of my cards to post! Any suggestions? TFL!

Boys Happy Birthday Crown-Card #3

It is soooo hard to create a teen boys birthday card. I had not set out to make one. This was part of the "Happy Birthday" series that I am making. I am so happy with how it came out. The base is the same as the Froggy cards. The crown is from the Indie Art cartridge. I ran the crown through the Swiss Dots embossing folder (can you tell I love that folder! LOL). Then I added the top layer to it in red. I also added some bling on the crown. On the inside I added a strip of matching ribbon. Photo corners are by an EK Success punch. TFL!

Froggy Happy Birthday-Cards #1 & #2

Ribbit, Ribbit!! I had a wonderful time making several "Happy Birthday" themed cards with the same base card. The base card is a .cut file designed by Susanbluerobot. I made some changes on the font on a some of the cards. After I cut the base card on several different double sided designer papers, I went ahead and embellished away. It was way fun!

So here are my first 2 cards. They are similar froggy cards. The paper is Actopus to Zelephant by K and Company. It has some foil on it, but it is hard to see in the photos. The cards are slightly different. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder on parts of the cardstock on the front of the card. All the photo corners on the first one are from the Slice machine design card Animal Crackers. The photo corners on the inside of the second card are from an EK Success punch. TFL!

Thank You Card

I need a fresh start in life and what better way than to start with a new blog. I am starting things off with a simple "Thanks" card. I made this for a friend that has helped me a lot in the last 6 months. I created this card with my Cricut and Design Studio. I used the George and Basic Shapes cartridge for all of the cuts. I cut the flowers at 2 inches and ran them through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I inked all the edges with Chestnut Roan Chalk ink. The photo corners are an EK Success punch. If you would like a copy of the Design Studio file you can email me at scrapbooknut2002@yahoo.com. TFL!
