Beautiful Butterflly

Hi All!  All the cuts on this are from my Cameo Silhouette.  I just love my Cameo!  The butterfly is cutout of some fabulous and delicate pearlescent paper.  And it just cut out so beautifully on the Cameo!  The purple dots are “skittles”…if you know what I’m talking about…lol.  I also added some blue baker’s twine at the top.  TFL!

“Thank You!, Thank You!, Thank You!”-Painted card

“Thank You!, Thank You!, Thank You!” painted card inspired by this months issue of Paper Crafts mag.  Fun and easy and pretty.  I added a bit of Pearlized mist over the top of mine for some glitz.  The painted portions are on watercolor paper.  The rest is regular cardstock.  TFL!

Tim Holtz Inspired Tags–Queen Bee and Butterfly

I have always loved Tim Holtz and his products.  But, I have only really recently started using them and trying to be creative with the Tim Holtz world of wonder.  These are a couple of tags I tried my hand at.  The butterfly tag is an interpretation of one of his tags of 2012.  The other is based on his paint dauber resist technique.  I gotta say one of my favorite products is the Distress Stain.  I used it to dye both the ribbon and lace on these tags.  Just so fun!  TFL!

Floral Fun

This card was so fun to make.  I primarily used my Silhouette Cameo to make it.  The flower in the middle and the label shapes behind it are from the Silhouette Online store.  I added gold micro-beads and Recollections dots to the middle and wrapped some twine into a bow around the middle of the flower.  Most of the paper is from the DCWV Coral Couture stack.  The small orange and peach flowers are also the Recollections brand.  I inked the edges and used glitter pen here and there.  TFL!

Happy Birthday Flower and Banners

Just poppin’ in to post a card! Used my Cricut, an EK punch, Cuttlebug, some rubberstamping, a Reflections floers and some ribbon. TFL!

Valentine’s Day Decor

Full front 2

Holder front 1Holder side 1Frame front 1Holder back 1

So Valentine’s Day is coming up soon and I wanted to make some fun d├ęcor.  I made this with my Cricut and several cartridges.  I used the new and fabulous Victorian Romance, Fancy Frames, Martha Stewart Everyday Cakes, and CTMH Art Philosophy cartridges.  I cut all the base pieces of the frame with a light weight chipboard.  I covered the frame part with a piece of K&Co. patterned paper.  I used the same (double sided) paper to make the flowers from the CTMH AP cartridge and added a pearl in the middle.   I also added some gold smooch ink to the edges of the flowers.   I wrapped the frame with some gold twine and inked the edges with red rose Cat’s eye ink.

I wrapped the frame holder with gold twine.  I sponged it with ink and sprayed it with glimmer mist.  I designed the frame holder on my Gypsy and decided to leave out all the tiny pieces on this design to make it easier to cut.  I added some ribbon and another flower to the front.  The “Be Mine”  is from the Martha Stewart cart.  I added gems to all the corners.

The adorable little clown is from the new Victorian Romance cart.  I cut it at 2 inches and it cut great!  I added craft plastic to the frame to make it more real.  I also added a back layer and put pop dots between the front and back layer for dimension.  Thanks for looking!

People were so very generous to us this Christmas.  I wanted to make some thank you notes to send out for the gifts our family received.  I made six notes like this one.

Card formula:

Base-A six pack of cards/envelopes from Michaels.  They are a beautiful tri-fold card with an eyelet flower cut into them.

Patterned Paper-DCWV and K and Co.

Flower-homemade from an EK Success punch and a medium scallop punch. I added a brad to the middle.  Then I added a glitter shape to the top.

"Thank You”-cut using my Cricut and Cindy Loo cartridge.
